This project is one of my favorites. The Mexico City team was passionate about depicting their city and culture throughout the space. We had a great time researching Lucha Libre as well as the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema, muralists, and pyramids. The high point of this project was to visit Mexico City for the installation. I took my research a bit further and attended Arena Mexico to see the Luchadores in person - great fun. I absolutely love that city!
The background Lucha mural was created by Joy Knoguess, an Austin illustrator.
Rackspace Mexico City Expansion

In March 2019 the Rackspace Mexico City offices expanded their space. We continued our use of large acrylic posters on metal standoffs. The team continued to provide me with great themes to research and execute. As always my partner, Joy Knoguess, an illustrator out of Austin, delivered a gorgeous, custom mural for the office break area. I had fun working on the tequila. Loteria and metro themes. Joy also created custom neighborhood posters.
